Asia stocks plunge after Europe elections, US data

Fox News --
BANGKOK – Asian stock markets were pummeled Monday by weekend election results in Greece and France that heightened uncertainty about Europe's ability to solve its debt crisis.

Signs of a faltering economic recovery in the U.S. compounded the dour mood while oil slid below $97 a barrel. Japan's Nikkei 225 index plunged 2.6 percent to 9,134.26 and Hong Kong's Hang Seng slid 2.4 percent to 20,582.24.

Election results in Greece sent tremors throughout Europe as voters punished the parties responsible for highly unpopular austerity measures instituted to prevent the country from defaulting on its massive debts.

More bad news for the world? The recession will continue and it does not matter what county it will affect.
Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, Produce and ‘Drive’ vehicles with high MPG, are very reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. Consider using other forms of less expensive transportation to lower your cost, if possible.

Do you think that the Tea Party and other Republicans will listen to this warning? I doubt it, so look forward to President Obama and the Democrats sweeping this next election. When Arizona Republicans totally unfunded our future by making those deep cuts in education and the governor sentenced those people who had been promised transplants to death, they sentenced the Arizona Republican party to oblivion. Even the most stubborn people eventually wake up and realize what is going on.

Several European countries have economies that are not very stable. As long as the European countries have unstable economies, expect volatility in the European financial markets and energy markets. With the Recent Greek and French elections, I expect the situation to get worse in Europe before it gets better.

Having a Socialist Party in charge does NOT equal failure anymore than Capitalism equals success. There are winniers in losers in all systems. Why do you think the occupy Wall Street movement occured?
Ragen believed that if you made the wealthy more so trickle down would occur and all would benifit. This did not happen. The disparity between rich and poor grew and much of the extra wealth benerated to corporations due to tax cuts went off shore to build factories in areas where wages were low. Asia really benifited from this while american factories closed due to jobs going to Asia.
Socialist governments tend toward protectionism and taking from the rich to pay for services to the poor. Sweden and Norway both have socialist governments and are doing just fine. The NDP in Manitoba and Saskatchewan did just fine as well.

this will not effect gas prices. Gas will be higher at the end of June and the early July.

Rekey, the people who want to fix the problem will cause countries to tighten their budgets and therefore, spend less which will affect the stock market companies bottom line.

If the Euro fails because of increased debt from the participants, will that make everything more expensive here in North America, or will it mean that the rich will just lose a little money from investing in high interest debt that will never be paid back.
