My prayers for your grandson, I hate to hear that you will be selling the Goat. I have been collecting S.S. since Aug of 2011; I now am putting 85% of my pay into the company 401K to lower my taxable income, hopefully to Zero, and living on my S.S. I hope to do this, this year, and next. Also I have made the max contribution to a Roth acct., for last year, and plan on doing so for the next 3. Once I reach the max amount in 2015 for the Roth I plan on pulling the plug, bar no more health issues for me, and Medicare, and the supplement doesn’t get out of hand. One Heart attack, 4 heart surgeries, and a battle with Colon Cancer is enough, time to enjoy what little time I have left, according to the Actuaries, 18.6 years to go.
